Sovetsky Hotel

The hotel was constructed in 1952 in Empire decor style and renovated in 1998. It is an elegant architectural entity with the legendary Yar restaurant. The interior of the hotel follows retro stile of the 1950s. For long years, it was an official government residence. Here Margaret Thatcher, Conrad Adenauer, Indira Ghandi and Spanish king Juan Carlos stayed. Today the Sovietsky hotel is going through its "second birth" – the rooms are renovated, a programme of total service improvement accomplished. The hotel has no two similar rooms, each with its own interior to suite individual tastes. Nearest business centres: CSKA, Expocentre, Crocus Expo.
