Shuya is ideal for those who are visiting Karelia for the first time. This tour is available throughout the whole summer season, from May to September and it has no age restrictions!
New reliable vessels – motor-rafts – allow you to enjoy travelling along numerous minor rivers and lakes. It is important to note that motor-rafts give you access to all the most interesting river rapids. Rapids complexity increases gradually and as a result you will be prepared for passages of significantly more difficult river rapids, i.e. 3 km / second. These rapids are popular with rafting professionals, who regularly organise water sports and tourism championships here.

Day 1 |
Arrival and meeting at the train station of the city of Petrozavodsk. Transfer from Petrozavodsk to the village of Hautavaara – 125 км. River equipment preparation. Lunch. Instructions, gear, boat departure. Hautavaara and Sizovskiy rapids rafting – 7км. Dinner and lodging for the night under canvas. |

Day 2 |
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and lodging for night throughout the trip – under canvas. Sizovskiy and Kumio rapids rafting – 23 км. Ignoylskaya PowerStation detour. Kenyajkoski and Kumio rapids viewing from the shore. Decision on whether to cross or to detour the rapids is made by the instructor, depending on the preparedness of the group. |

Day 3 |
Day tour on Kumio rapid. Tourist banya. |

Day 4 |
Kumio rapid and Shotozero lake rafting – 29 км. |

Day 5 |
Shotozero lake and Svyatreka river rafting 27 км. |

Day 6 |
Rafting up to the village of Matrosi – 22 км. Big Tolly rapid rafting. |

Day 7 |
Half day programme. Big Tolly rapid rafting. Lunch. Transfer to Petrozavodsk 45 км. Departure of the train № 17 – “Karelia”: Petrozavodsk – Moscow. |

The package includes: transfer according to the programme, full board, tour guide, insurance. Rafting gear rental: rafts, oars, helmets, life jackets, water-tight packages, boat engine. Camp gear rental: camp-fire equipment, tents, sleeping bags, warm ground sheets.
